PAW DRAW TO THE RESCUE 50/50 RUFF-LE

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #128118

    3 for $10.00; 9000 tickets
    15 for $25.00; 15000 tickets
    40 for $50.00; 6000 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $31,250.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Final ticket sales deadline: July 1, 2021 at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: July 1, 2021 at 7:00:00 p.m. PDT

    Draw will be held at Prince George Humane SocietyUnit 11-1839 1st AvePrince George, BCV2L 2Y8

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://princegeorgehumanesociety.rafflenexus.com/winners on July 1, 2021.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Prince George Humane Society.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Prince George Humane Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Prince George Humane Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Cause

The Prince George Humane Society rescues and rehabilitates abused, neglected, and abandoned animals and places them in loving forever homes. We focus on supporting remote and First Nation communities with limited resources and access to Veterinary care by providing programs and services to reduce pet overpopulation. Through our Adoption and Humane Education Center, we offer educational programs to children and adults, focusing on teaching compassion towards all living creatures.

In the face of COVID-19, our organization has continually faced critical challenges, including a spike in owner surrenders, a steady decline in donations and the cancellations of our fundraising events. These challenges have impacted the number of emergency medical cases we can assist with compared to previous years. The Prince George Humane Society remains committed to ensuring we can provide as many animals as possible in need of emergency veterinary care, and this raffle will ensure we do that. Paws Up for the animals!
